Meet the Doctor – Jamie Starr Peters, OD

Dr. Peters studied at Penn State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry. In practice since 1996, her professional goal has been to halt the epidemic of myopia development one patient at a time.   While pursuing this area of optometry, she became certified in orthokeratology to treat people with this sight-debilitating condition. She is part of an elite group of practitioners who are working to advance the techniques of myopia control through the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. She is also experienced in treating patients that have special visual and medical needs with custom contact lenses.

Meet the Doctor – Caroline Guerrero Cauchi, OD, FIAO

Dr. Cauchi began her studies in the field of psychology and began working as a therapist with children facing multiple challenges. She furthered her education at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Cauchi combines her background in psychology and child development to offer comprehensive eye care services. She also became an expert in the field of orthokeratology.  Her work led her to be designated a Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.  She is also trained to perform specialty contact lens fittings and address computer-related vision problems.
